CS Energy Awards DISCO Grant

Recently DISCO received positive news from CS Energy after successfully applying for funding to support the work the organisation does within the community.

DISCO Dalby Office manager Mrs Le-Anne Callaghan commented:

“It was so fantastic recently to hear from CS Energy that our application to their Community Sponsorship program had been successful.

As a not-for-profit organisation, DISCO is extremely limited on how much we can spend on assets to improve the environment in which we work. As we work with primarily State and Commonwealth funding we are required to invest these commitments in operational expenditure for the work we do so to receive funds to assist us to improve the environment and delivery methods to undertake our work, is very exciting.

The CS Energy funding allocation of nearly $15,000 will go towards new electrical equipment from which to conduct training, air conditioning and new furniture.

“Both I and the Management Committee of the organisation want to join with Le-Anne and her team and acknowledge this wonderful contribution from CS Energy. We love helping young people and this investment goes directly to support the young people we assist and will make for an even more professional environment from which to deliver our work”

said DISCO CEO Mike Paton.
