Employers
DISCO works closely with the majority of schools in Toowoomba and the inner Darling Downs to assist young people to access employers to obtain both workplace experience and casual and school-based employment. We also have young people who have completed school who are looking to commence employment and a career.
We rely on employers and industry in the region to offer support and now have more than 700 businesses involved in the program.
Organisations can choose the program most suitable for them with DISCO able to assist businesses to link inexpensively to the right program to assist their immediate needs. Many employers use the DISCO program to provide succession planning opportunities to identify possible future employees.
We have young people registered with us now who are interested in meeting with employers for full-time, part-time, casual and school-based positions.
DISCO can assist employers by referring candidates for positions who are eager and willing to work. We can also provide employers with information on potential government incentives, which can reduce the cost of employment and training and help contribute to the success of your business.
